Who we are

Buildculus is a home-improvement calculator site. We publish free calculators (concrete slabs, footings, and similar tools) for DIYers and contractors.

What data we collect

We do not collect personal data directly. The values you enter into a calculator are processed entirely in your browser; we do not transmit or store them on our servers.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. As a security necessity, Cloudflare maintains short-lived logs (including IP addresses) to protect against DDoS attacks and other abuse. We do not have routine access to these logs and do not use them for analytics.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are popular and how the site is performing. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not track visitors across sites or over time.

Advertising

We may serve display ads via [Network] in the future. When we do, this section will be updated to describe their data practices and provide opt-out information.

Cookies

We do not currently set any cookies. Browser localStorage is used to remember your unit-system preference; this never leaves your device.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or erase any personal data we hold about them. California residents have similar rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal information). Children

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (United States) or under 16 (European Union). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves or as legal requirements change. The effective date above will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on this page.
