Estimates only — important disclaimer

Calculator results on Buildculus are estimates intended for planning purposes only. They are not engineering analyses, construction drawings, or professional advice.

Before relying on any result for purchasing, permitting, or construction, you must verify it against:

Material yields, densities, and code references used by these calculators are approximate values drawn from manufacturer spec sheets and published standards. They are subject to change without notice and may not reflect the specific product or revision you purchase.

No warranty

The site and all calculators are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buildculus disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buildculus and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, lost materials, project delays, structural failures, or costs of substitute goods or services — arising out of or related to your use of the site or reliance on its calculators, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape the site, use automated tools to access it at volume, attempt to disrupt or overload the service, probe for vulnerabilities except as part of responsible disclosure, or use the site in violation of any applicable law.

Intellectual property

The site's source code, design, written content, and diagrams are owned by Buildculus and are protected by copyright. Citations to building codes (IRC, IBC, ACI) and manufacturer spec sheets are factual references and link to the original sources.

Buildculus does not currently collect user-supplied data. If we add features that allow you to submit data in the future, that data will remain yours; we would only obtain a limited license to display it as needed to operate the feature.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
